Hello and thank you for expressing an interest in my auction. I am offering for your consideration the following. This is a "
Very Attractive
"  antique architectural True Victorian window header or pediment as some people call it. This is the ornate piece that was installed over the tops of the exterior windows on early Victorian houses. Many people reuse them as interior accent design pieces. This one I salvaged from another one of my many Detroit demolition sites of a Victorian house.  This one is a perfect size and shape for interior display.
ITEM CONDITION :
This piece is in {
Exceptional Condition
} considering is was outside exposed to over 100 years of weathering elements.  When I had salvaged this piece it was covered in many. many coats of oil base paint. The last color was black so I did strip all of the paint off when I acquired it over 30 years ago. This one is being sold as you see it in the listing with no paint,  just raw solid pine. You can see in the posted pictures there is a crack on the left hand side on the round of the arch. This crack "
does not
" go all the way through and it does not effect the over all integrity of the piece, it is still a very solid and very sturdy piece. This window header is made from 3 layers of solid pine and the crack only goes through the first two pieces.  The white sporadic spots that you see on the front are from the carpenters plaster putty used to cover the iron square head nails when assembled. Despite being stripped of countless coats of paint there was no other choice but to strip it to bring out the appearance of the center fretwork cut out pattern and to be able to see the lines of the construction.  The old paint literally hid everything you see now.
Over all it is very well made, sturdy, solid, meaty, ready to last another 130 years. Constructed of solid thick pine and assembled  with iron square head nails as seen in the pictures,  "

". This piece has been thoroughly chemically stripped, washed and scrubbed with industrial soup and bleach to remove any residue from the chemical stripping and to disinfect it. It is very solid and has no dry rot, worm or bug rot, water damage, etc just the crack I mentioned and there is a chipped piece missing off of the back on the very top edge of the rounded arch. The back side does have a few small missing pieces that occurred during removal which couldn't be help, but they do not effect the display. Over all this is  just a {
Very Attractive
} architectural piece with a semi simplistic design. It has a much better color when viewed in person. It also displays Very Well.
MEASUREMENTS :
The measurements are as follows -

inches in height from the top rounded arch to the very bottom edge, the center half moon fretwork pattern insert design is

inches wide at the very bottom and

inches tall, and cut out insert is

inch thick, the entire depth of the topper when flat against the wall is
