Very Attractive
" really great antique architectural True Victorian window header or pediment as some people call it. This is the ornate piece that was installed over the tops of the exterior windows on early Victorian houses. Many people reuse them as interior accent design pieces. This one I salvaged from another one of my many Detroit demolition sites of a Victorian house.  This one is a perfect size and shape for interior display.
ITEM CONDITION :
This piece is in {
Exceptional Condition
} considering is was outside exposed to over 100 years of weathering elements.  It has an over all fantastic natural weather stressed and crackled age texture.
Also because the piece was exposed to years of all the weathering elements, sun, rain, snow, heat, cold, all the natural elements has given it a naturally authentic {
Great Aged Weather  Appearance
}, you won't get this type of aged crackly stressed appearance with those cheap craft store crackle paint kits. Over all it is very well made, sturdy, solid, meaty, ready to last another 130 years. Constructed of solid thick pine and assembled  with iron square head nails as seen on the back, which have been bent over to lay flat. It still retains most of the pale grey paint which seems to sporadically differ in color shaded areas "

" it also has a great crackled texture. This piece has been thoroughly washed and scrubbed with industrial soup and bleach to remove any loose flaking paint, dirt and to disinfect it. It is very solid and has no dry rot, worm or bug rot, water damage, etc. Just a naturally aged original weather stressed crackled paint appearance with aged patina and multiple sporadic very fine thin stress lines on the top surface of the wood.  Over all this is a {
Very Attractive
} architectural piece with a semi simplistic design.
