A French decorative pediment made of hand carved oak wood.
The Art Nouveau carving displays a decoration of very fine and airy volutes.
This antique pediment dates from the late 1800's.
It has an dark antique patina, with a lot of relief.

This pediment is in good condition, with only some normal traces of aging of the wood (an element at the top of the shell has received an old repair see last picture).
