Antique Victorian c1907 Farm House Wood Pediment Gable Decoration

Description

This ornate Victorian original gable decoration was salvaged from a farm house in Oxford, IA c1907.
Would be a unique addition to your farm house décor – possibly a headboard or above a mantle.
Pieces of this size and condition are becoming harder & harder to find.
Better yet, there is a matching pair of these, but are priced for each piece.
One has been completely restored, the other is missing a couple of ball pieces and a small piece that broke off one end (see bottom right in first photo).
These issues are consistent with age.
They are constructed of pine.
Both have weathered nicely and retain the original white chippy paint.
Accents are bullseyes, balls, dental pattern on the arch, hand cut scroll work and all of the finials are present and accounted for.
Overall, they are 84”w x 41 ½” at the center peak.
