Vintage Heller Bros. Farrier Horseshoe Hoof Curved Knife

Up for sale is a vintage Heller Bros. Co. farriers curved knife. The material looks like cast iron. There is some rust on the handle and blade. I wasn't sure how to clean it, and also thought the buyer might want it left alone. It is approximately 8 1/4" long.
